  Yes the sand here is white and silky and always cool underfoot even on the hottest days. And yes the sunsets here are an orange pink gauche splattered against the evening sky. And yes the Gulf is warm, shallow, salty and inviting, delightfully lapping the shore as plovers dart around the wash and young children delight in the prospect of enough sand to shape a million castles. And yes the light is perfectly dazzling here as a cast of hundreds is assembled daily to pose as if in Seurat painting going about the business of beach existence. So why only four stars if this is such a perfect spot? Parking, my friends, parking, as there are only so many spots in Eden.
